Winter Fun & Christmas Wishes

We got about a foot of snow earlier this week. Doug and the boys got out there yesterday to build snowpeople in the very heavy, wet, melting snow. Perfect for snowpeops. (Oh. And no worries. We're getting DUMPED on as i write this. Never lacking in the white stuff around here). I especially like the snowman with two carrot noses. Nice touch.

We have an ornament that holds letters for Santa--a cute little red, cylindrical thing. We had the boys sit down and write what they wanted most from Santa. Can you read what Bode wrote? We're still trying to decipher Keegen's request...

Very cute snow people!! We need to get out there and do that - I guess this storm is going to really dump, eh?! And wow, Bode is writing so well!! Hope he gets those hot wheels!:)

ah. too bad i gave the hotwheels to chloe this year! ;) it looks like keegen's says something like: "dear santa, for christmas i wish we could move to fairfax virginia, or arlington virginia, or somewhere northern virginia. if we can't move there, then i would like to go back to grandma's for christmas so i can see my cousins. i miss them very much. and santa, i would take a move to philly in place of any of these requests.
very truly yours,
keegen"
or something along those lines-- his writing IS a little fuzzy....

erin, i love it! you are so in sync with 2 year old writing and wishes!

i would have to second that that would be my wish too. i think. with an added "and that if we move back to nova or philly, that we'll be able to find a house we can afford that isn't under the highway or a crackhouse."
