I took Doug to see Mamma Mia tonight. He likes musicals and doesn't mind a chick-flick every now and again. In one of the early scenes in the movie, the daughter was singing and i think she's darling, so i said to Doug, "Isn't she darling?" And he agreed. He's already totally into the movie and says, "We're going to have to own this one." It was so fun seeing this with him. We've been listening to the soundtrack ad nauseum so it was fun to sing along with the show and with him. And now he wants to learn to play "Our Last Summer" on the guitar. What a guy.

I thought I would take Jared because he LOVES Abba. Oh, was I sooo glad I saw it first with girl friends. I think I'll still have Jared watch it with me but only once it's out on DVD. Doug is a good good man.

Fun! I know Jake will love this one when he gets around to seeing it. I like it when husbands can appreciate the funner, um, I mean finer things in life.

Maya is obsessed with ABBA. She listens to "Take a Chance o Me" on You Tube like 20 times a day. (Must be the original 70's video) She knows all the words including "afraid of a love affair" I am the world's best mom (: All the ABBA at our house reminds me of our college days. It was the only music all the roomates agreed on!
