This is a picture of part of our backyard. Can't really appreciate the snow that's falling, but it is...Our patio furniture has been continually blown off the patio with the crazy winds, and I've tired of picking them up. Doug is outside covering the new plants and trees with plastic. Give me a break!

It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas (AGAIN!)
It is, as far as I know, May 23rd. May has always been a blissful time when it comes to weather in my life. It was the tail-end of spring/early summer in the DC area, getting hot but not always extremely humid yet. Flowers, green trees, school letting out, neighborhood pools opening, la la la la la. Well, it's May 23rd in Falcon, Colorado. And it's snowing. Are you freakin' kidding me??!
