No.
This is what he was doing.
He knows this Russian doll is completely and totally off-limits. Yet he was playing so happily. And was obviously not remotely nervous about being caught as he was so calm when i entered the room to ask him what he was doing. He answered that question in a very matter-of-fact way. And i said, "Okey dokey. Have fun. Please be soft with it" and left the room.
So what else can i claim is off-limits? 'Cause i need some quiet time.

Ava LOVES playing with my Russian doll (which has had to be repaired twice and the smallest doll is still missing...but having a quiet child playing by themselves is priceless.
I think we have a sixth sense to tell us when the quietness is actually naughtiness.:) I'm glad he was playing nicely though - our Russian dolls are definite favorites around here.
Try Vaseline. They KNOW it's bad stuff and you're guaranteed a good hour of quiet!
It's true. If only I didn't care if my entire house was covered in marker and crayon, I could have some serious quiet time.
brilliant. this is when we were talking on the phone-- very funny! there are no things off limits in my house (minus knives, matches, and guns)... so, therein lies a huge problem.
