Reality Bites
So much for that super-duper chipper potty post from yesterday. Today he had 4 pee accidents and one poop. Three of the wet ones were whilst he stood IN A BATHROOM stating he did not need to go and then two seconds later stating, "Mommy, I'm wet." He seems to think it's OK since it was "an accident." I informed him i have a problem with his "accidents" since calling it an accident would infer that he's actually making an effort. I am a horrible mom when it comes to potty training. I have no more patience for it.

I'm sorry that PT is tough with Bode. You are NOT a horrible mom. And I love that I am not alone in the Mommy Dearest moments!
I just KNOW that I am going to be in your shoes with Jack at this time next year. The boy won't even sit on the potty. I don't care if he uses it, I just want him to SIT on it.
We are home... trying to catch up on everything. Wanna get together?
Hey now, I think EVERYONE is a horrible mom when it comes to potty training a difficult to train child. I know, I had two of them. In fact, Ethan still has to be coaxed into any sitting on the potty at all. But it DOES get better. He's just figuring out how far he can push you! I'm sure you're doing the best for your family.
i clearly remember calling you during fiona's potty training days and stating: IF YOU EVER WANT TO FEEL LIKE A TERRIBLE MOTHER, START POTTY TRAINING!!!
i hear ya. good luck.
Oh, the horror that is potty-training! I am so sorry that you had a step back. I thought Ben was a lost cause during "phase 1" of our potty-training nightmare, but then something seemed to click and it all started going much better - I hope that happens soon for Bode! Good luck!!
I FEEL YOUR PAIN!!!!
