Happy Eyes

“Happy the eyes that can close.” --from Cry the Beloved Country

I'm totally stealing this from my sister. It's just such a great article--a column I loved reading when we got the Washington Post. I have neighbors who actually snarl and roll their eyes when they talk about stay-at-home moms. Some of you out there have certainly had encounters with those who think less of you because of your lazy and extravagent staying-at-home lifestyles. No doubt a husband or two could learn from this article too...So next time someone asks you, "Sheesh, what do you DO all day?" just give them this article to read and politely tell them where they can put it when they're done...

Nice article. I liked it--especially giving the forehead some keyboard part. Yes, I have 2 excuses to take it easy and relax . . . how come that's not working out for me????

That article is GREAT! She sums it up so well, particulary the part about it taking 45 minutes to do what others can do in 15.

(I LOVE the cartoon!)
