
That's my goal. To be a Pilates Hottie, that is. I went to pilates tonight for the first time at our neighborhood rec center (run by the YMCA). I really need to start taking better care of myself, so this is a good start. It was a fantastic class. I wasn't sure what to expect. I really didn't expect a workout, but it was just what I needed. Lots of stretching, muscle use, inhaling and exhaling. All good stuff. I was surprisingly tired, dehydrated and relaxed after the class. So, every Monday and Wednesday night, you'll know where I'll be!
It is rather relaxing. My flexibility has never been great, but doing some pilates or yoga before bed really does help me to stretch down.
ReplyDeleteI love your title! I want to be a pilates hottie too. I bought a Pilates book a few years ago and the teacher/model had the most amazing body. I tried a class here though and it was disappointing. Good to know that it really can be a workout -- I'll have to try again!
